Working in pairs, or larger groups, create some information relating to safety and hygiene when cooking (you can present your information in any format you choose – for example, you might create a poster, leaflet or presentation).

In your information, you should explain:

  • The key steps that should be taken in order to ensure that the cooking environment is safe and hygienic (include tips on personal hygiene as well as cleaning the cooking area).
  • Why these steps are important.
  • What could go wrong if these steps are not followed.
